We all love a good shawarma, but with the constant competition on every block, it’s not always easy to come by. It takes the right pita, toppings, meat and sauces to truly create the ‘perfect’ shawarma experience. Luckily, just off Kennedy Road, Shawarma 360 is home to the comforting food of the Middle East – and we can safely say they’ve perfected the ultimate shawarma.

Shawarma 360 is more than what its name entails; this hidden gem offers its community a menu that enhances the classic shawarma dish. From juicy burgers, shawarma plates, wraps, shawarma salads, and even chicken shawarma nachos, Shawarma 360 goes beyond the average Middle Eastern shawarma joint.

For our visit, we decided to try the Jerk Chicken Shawarma Poutine and the Mixed Meat (chicken and beef) Shawarma Plate. Both meals were decently priced (under $30), with generously sized portions. The meat was juicy, tender and spiced to perfection, especially the jerk chicken.

Everything about the poutine screams comfort food – the salted French fries, cheese curds, and most importantly, the hot gravy that melds all the ingredients together to a delicious cheesy goodness. We highly suggest adding the jerk chicken shawarma for extreme flavour!

The shawarma plate is accompanied by their in-house garlic sauce, hummus, rice, and salad (with the choice to get fries instead). We loved that there was the option to combine two meats for the shawarma plate, perfect for all the indecisive diners out there! Shawarma 360 offers the selection to choose between lamb, classic chicken, jerk chicken, beef, and a non-meat alternative, falafel.

This fast-dining restaurant prides itself in serving fresh-not-frozen meals that everyone can enjoy with daily preparation of its pitas (dough made in-house and baked fresh to order), marinated meat (all 100% Halal), and even their sauces. From start to finish, you can expect a meal that feels homemade and delivers both quality and freshness to the table.

As if shawarma nachos and poutine wasn’t enough – Shawarma 360 is well known for their freshly ground burgers (using top sirloin beef). Most notably, the Chicken Shawarma Cheeseburger (6 oz freshly ground top sirloin grilled beef patty, topped with 4 oz of chicken shawarma, and dressed with your favourite toppings and sauces). If you can’t decide between a juicy burger or delicious shawarma, this burger really is the best of both worlds. We can’t wait to try it next!
